"He is OK"

Last wed morning, We just got up and moving around. Rusty left for work... I got a phone call from a friend. She asked me if our sitter was here. I told the friend no, that I gave her the day off to spend with her son! Only in return to find out earlier that morning,our sitter ONLY CHILD and ripe age of 15years old was killed in a car wreak. My heart stopped and I been in a fog. I can't even imagine what she is going through. He was a good kid and testing the water. He snick out Tuesday night to go to a party. He and 3 other boys. Sadly,from what we can tell that the SUV hydroplane and flipped several times. Landed upright for a tree to snap out of the ground.. roots and all and fall over on the SUV. The driver,Chad and our sitter son, Jeffery was killed instantly. The other 2 boys escaped with 24-36hr in hospital and minor scratches. Why did it happen this way.. loose 2 and 2 lived.
This all happened while Courtney was away at camp. I even had to miss the funeral to go 250miles one way to pick Courtney up at camp. I explained to Courtney a little why Ms. Linda was sad and needed us to be extra nice to her. Courtney looked at me, as we driving back home and said "Mom, I talk to Jeffery" and I could only think of one thing to tell her. She could could ask God to get Jeffery for her and then talk to Jeffery. I heard her 'rambling' not making out but a few words here and there..God... yea... ok.. love you Jeffery.. ok.. ok.. bye.. Within in a few mins.. she looked at me and said once again "Mom, I talked to Jeffery" and I said "ok".. she finished off to say... "He is OK"
I got my chills for the week. I wonder how my daughter knows he ok.. she is a angel and now I know this for sure. I been question so many things in my life and why me and my kids.... Now I see the light, well least some of it!

So for now... I am satisfied with "He is OK"........

Dream Factory and Disney World

Courtney wish was answered! She will be going to Disney World first week of Dec. Well not just her.. but the whole family plus one more adult. We are in process looking for someone now. We are all excited to have a trip and get away from medical part of of world. Courtney wish was granted because of the chronic illness she deals with daily. Such as aspirations/pneumonia, asthma,tube feds and oxygen and cpap. She always got something going on and we do the best to keep her feeling and doing what typical kids do but alot of time she don't have the energy to do much. So her wish was to go to Disney and mostly see Barney. So that our plan!

I will do my best to keep a journal along the way how things are going!

Dayton turned 10 years old....

Dayton at 2yr old

At 4yrs old.
My baby... I can not believe he is officially 10yr. I am so over whelmed with happiness and sadness. Dayton is such a challenge most days. He has such a sweet smile and make your heart melt. He got the best hugs! He lacks in communication skills and causes alot of behaviors. One day at a time.. we are working on more signs but not fast enough.

At 6yrs old

He loves to play in the water and ride in the car. He loves Wiggles, Doodlebops, and Barney! Anything with numbers, letters and learning he loves it! He loves to have one on one attention most all day!


Dayton at 9yr..

He has grown so much over the last few years! He not a little boy anymore.. truly is my big boy and healthy as a ox!
