Friends...

Courtney and Camry have been friends since they where little. I wish I could find a pic(could if I reallllly look) of them younger and coming up! Camry always been around us and adores the all 3 of them. She is growing up now becoming a young lady. She past Courtney in alot of ways but she understands Courtney,Dayton and Joshua to the T! She even mentioned she going to take Dayton to his prom..... I am holding it to her. Over all .. Camry like another daughter to me. Camry if you are reading this.. We love you hun!!!

Back in March,Courtney and I planted 2 packs of Marigold seeds in one pot and another 2 pack in another. Well ONE took off and blooming and she is seeing results. Wish I had gotten before sure rather not see the dirt. Here a few days ago and she excited as it is growing day by day!



Hopefully they will grow bigger. I have no clues about plants and not a green thumb for sure. We are trying! See her get excited about it is cool! I will take another pic in a few weeks see how they are growing. Hopfully Courtney will be well enough to go out and get one with her too.

She still running fever woke last night with 103.5 fever. Nothing else other than wet cough. We are going in for blood work and x-rays. She don't mind x-rays but the stick.. hmmmm may have to swing by dollar store and let her get a prize afterwards!

Joshua home too.. saw no point taking him and running around he go with us. I am trying so hard to save gas.. it hit 2.89 here... bit steep on the pocketbook! I feel sorry for those in CA paying 3.50 is NUTS!!!!

Dayton is ok... we going to try Colinde with him.. didn't work last time.. not sure it works now. We will wait and see!

ME.....

Amazes me time to time again,that someone learns something new about me. I always keep quiet person about me. The Dr called me this morning and of course I knew it was them.. I answered and told her to hold on that I need to grab my hearing aid. Ummmm get back on phone, she said I had NO CLUE you wearing hearing aids. Your speech is great! Yes, since I was 5yrs old I have worn hearing aids. Have tested many through my life. As a kid I had so many ear infection and chronic asthma that my ear infection got ignored and caused nerve damage. Well I am hearing about 20-30% in each ear meaning there a 70-80% loss. I recently bought 2 new aids a whopping 2K set and needless to say they are only 2 yrs old and one already history. They other one I am fighting to hear with. I been really depressed the last 2months over my hearing and NOT BEING ABLE TO HEAR! It totally SUXS! Course kids come first and fiance is very tight and mom on the back burner! I am falling apart literally need a widsome tooth pulled,ears checked and new aids and my heart checked again. But when and where and how will it happen! I keep praying for a miracle. If I can get nursing care for the kids with the waiver, I can find the when and where... and how is fiance... I may have to take out a loan for it all!
So one thing you learn today... I wear hearing aids.. LOL... can you tell? No by looking cuz I had 9yrs of speech and articulate words well. When I am tired another story!

Growing Pains....

As Courtney gets older,will be 14yr this year. Taken a back seat and looking on notice that she is getting sicker and more medical challenge as she gets older. The last 2 years she had to have a g-tube placed due to aspirating on her liquids and even some soild foods. We allow her to eat soild food and drink only 4 ozs a day of very thicken tea to take a few pills she has. Well this year she landed up in the hospital. Well yesterday April 30th... we had a upper GI... she not sleeping well and refluxing and possible fundo has slipped or a hernia has returned. Well reality this would be a simple fix but there no hernia and no immendtly reflux. After 20mins another xray and still had barrium in tummy... we could go. huh.. make sence to watch see what happens but they let us go. Said she had vey S L O W motilaty rate. Yea I knew that. Well hr pass.. she screaming her chest hurts in the upper left side.Of course we are down the road.. I wanted to turn around but she fell alseep in the car.. by the time we arrived home she had a 100.4 fever. I called our ped took her right in.. 20mins top! she had a 102 fever,crying she was hurting. The NP at the office looked at her.. and assumed it was reflux/?aspirtion. She bumped her Prevacid to 30mg twice a day and added Zantac 30mg twice a day. Sounds like a lot but if it works I am for it. Said the pain should aside over night. Well it almost 9 AM and the pain still there even prorating to her right side neck. Wondering now what is happening. She still has fever and just plain out feels bad!

The last 6months, I notic how thick Courtneys neck has gotten. I mean she a tiny girl but her neck is stocky. I know it related to DS but wondering why her. What happening to her body and why she getting weaker not stronger? Growing pains for her and me...... SUXS!!!!
