Joshua appt with Neuro

I called Monday to set appt up with Neuro. The girl came back said, how about tomorrow(Tuesday). Ok. is there a rush for tomorrow? She said, we have a cancellation and there a note on chart to be seen ASAP! So tomorrow.

Joshua, my grandmother and I headed out at 5:15 AM! To arrive in Atlanta at 9:01AM.. Yep.. long morning all ready! Traffic was ok.. but due to early storm.. cause a delay with getting 'medical' staff a moving! We waited for 1 1/2 for the dr.. and spent nearly a hour with the DR. We went over the last MRI again because there be question about increase of gray matter of the brain around the cortex. There also a cyst growing too. HUH..I have not heard this. She stated they are still do other research and more blood work today and another MRI and we will go from there. So for now we sit and wait. It wont change how I feel just explain some things!

OH.. exciting news.. Joshua said MAMA yesterday for the first time!!! I was so glowing and excited!!!

Courtney really becoming a social bug...

She always wanting someone over and of course there always someone here. She had friend from her special needs class over last night. I forgot to get a few pics. But we had spagetti,salad and garlic bread. For dessert vanilla pudding with cool whip. The girls was in heaven and it enjoyed it. We put puzzles together, play video games together and even dance to WE WILL ROCK YOU! It was fun and will have to do it again one day. Next week another friend in lined up to come over and have pizza night.

I look back,wondering how her social life would be as she gets older. Have no idea why I was so worried she is one social girl and I am so greatful she that way! I am glad she has friends and hopfully continue to grow and devople more friendships.

Sweetheart Party

Friday night, Courtney had a get together with a few friends at our house. She said it was called a sweetheart party. OK.. make sense it was Valentines day on Thursday. So friday rolled around and several kids cancelled because of going out of town for a 3 day weekend(oops for president day). That ok... we had a good turn out. We spent most the day getting ready and cleaning. We grilled hotdogs and had chips and homemade heart shape cupcakes. Nearly extra 15 folks to feed. WOW.. Before the whole 'crowd' showed up, one little fellow showed up early so he and Courtney spend time together before. They both are in special needs class together and both about same level. He has some delays. He can talk up a storm when it a intrest to him. I caught him and Courtney on the sofa all snuggled up and watching tv...
I am happy to say, I never thought she have this part of her life mostly because we live in a small town and not many kids around with special needs her age. Glad she gets a chance to have a wonderful friend like this young man!

I am back.....

Well here I am. Where I been. Who knows!

So here I decided to share my life as being a daughter,wife,mother and a friend. I will no longer be posting on boards like I have in the past. I expect no one to follow us as life is never dull in our house.

I will not have days assigned for anything.. just whatever I feel like. I tried to set up something but knowing me, no time to follow some days may be too much. So some days I will post 15times, other I may post nada!
