Camp

Well, my baby girl is gone till Sat to camp. We drove the long 5 hrs there and spent a total 25mins to check her in and get her to her room and she met with her counselar. The sad part, she never looked back to say bye.. I finally said.. hey... I love you.. can I have a hug.. she oh YA! She ran to me then. Told her great-grandmother and best friend bye too... Since they rode all the way there with us to see where she goes to camp. I really think Courtney adores this camp it is somewhere she can relate with other kids and special needs. From all the pictures and videos and even her telling me last year... I know she has a blast and always busy.

I will post pic when I go pick her up Sat. I left my camera at home yesterday. I know BAD mama!! Oh life goes on...

I finally got a chance to cry last night and this morning knowing that Courtney is gone and I really miss her already and yet love the idea she is maturing and growing away from MOM... Does it get better.. Mabey over time. Next year will be harder... I think... Dayton will be going with her..

Have a good day! I am heading to clean her closet out and get rid of clothes and books and toys she love over due to get rid of!

He recently taken off with signs and few words. Never seems to stop 'talkin'. I never thought in my wildest dream that I would have a kid who signs and gets everything he wants.. LOL.. Favorite thing to sign is "I want" and add whatever here..

What is love... Dayton has come a long way. He has Down Syndrome and Autism. Over time he overcome alot of things. Recently he been more loving and hugging toward everyone. Yesterday we had a family party for Dayton and Joshua. Rusty's(DH) grandmother came over she is going to be 97 next month. She has seen Dayton only a few times in his life. It has been 2 years since we seen them. We captured something that will last a lifetime for all of us! Dayton (8yrs) and his Me Ma(96yrsold) enjoying time looking through pictures together.

HAPPY 8th BIRTHDAY DAYTON!!!!!!


Dayton such a ham.. this is one of my favorite pictures of him.. he was being totally silly that night and was what we call slap HAPPY... He was so tired and ready for bed. I say Dayton cheese.. he cracked.
This is Dayton fixing to do both thumbs up and say "GOOD JOB"... He loves water and this was right up his ally at school.. he so excited for school to start back.. he walks up to me says schoo.. to cute.. we been luck the weather been nice and beautiful, so we try to stay out..but on the flip side. been nearly 100 everyday! Here Dayton and few classmates and they all having a BALL!!! Dayton thinks they are all silly being in that tiny pool and no where for him to flop in at.. LOL..
